Welcome to the new website of British actor Alex Etel

Alex shot to fame in 2004 when he was offered the starring role in Danny Boyle's hit film Millions about an 8 year old boy who finds a bag of money at the side of a railway track.

Alex's success in Millions led to him being offered the lead in another hit family film The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, an American-British fantasy drama directed by Jay Russell in which Alex plays a young boy who discovers a mysterious egg and cares for what hatches out of it: a "Water Horse" (loosely based on the Celtic water horse) which later becomes the fabled Loch Ness Monster.

Other roles followed and most recently Alex starred in the film of the award winning novel Ways to Live Forever.

Alex is currently studying hard at University and, as a result, his acting career is on hold.
